Plumber in Deira
We cover Deira, including Al Rigga, Naif, Al Ras and the streets around the Gold Souk and the Spice Souk.
Some of the oldest occupied building stock in Dubai stands here, and it carries the oldest pipe. Galvanised steel scales inward year on year, so a supply line cut for a healthy bore ends up passing a trickle. Owners often fit a pump first. The pump then pushes harder against a pipe that is the actual restriction, and the weakest joint on the run is the next thing to give.
Drainage tells the same story from the other end. Deira has one of the densest concentrations of restaurants in the city, and fat from all of them cools and sets in shared lines that were laid for a quieter street. Rodding opens a channel through it. Jetting takes the pipe wall back to bare surface, which is why it stays open.
Old buildings also hide their isolation valves. We find them before we start, not after.
